So why are we talking about video? Because we help clients with online marketing, and these days video is a great tool for marketing your company.
Marketing is about making your company stand out as the best solution to a customer’s needs. It involves teaching them about how you are different AND building a relationship where they learn to like and trust you.
How better to do this than with a video?

60 seconds with each: the picture, the brochure, and the video… which has the biggest impact? From which of those do you walk away feeling “Hey, I get that person”?
This is the power of video. It builds connections much more quickly than other advertising tools. It takes a faceless company and gives it a face. It makes you feel as though you have a relationship with this person and that you already trust them. In other words, it makes it easier to reach out to and start a new conversation.
So how can you leverage this tool? First, make a great video. Second, place the video everywhere that people are going to learn more about your company. This includes your website, your Google Places page, your social media profiles, and anywhere else you are actively marketing online. Finally, optimize your video for search engines. Videos have a significant advantage over web pages in search results because there are so many fewer videos vying for top ranking.
